Events

The Council organises regular networking functions and events, as well as, an annual trade and investment conference, usually in conjunction with our counterpart the New Zealand Fiji Business Council.

Our joint conference is alternately hosted in Fiji or New Zealand.

Past Events in 2011

Committee meetings and Networking functions:

  • 26th January, 11am- First full council meeting at the Suva Business Centre
  • 18th February – First Networking function at Cardo’s Bar and Grill, Port Denarau Marina, Nadi
  • 13th May, 3pm, Board Room, Port Denarau, Nadi – Second executive meeting and second networking function
  • 15th July, 11am, Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation Board Room – Third executive meeting
  • 18th August, 11am, Fiji Commerce & Employers Federation Board Room – Fourth Executive meeting
  • 9th September, Royal Suva Yacht Club, 6pm – Third networking function that coincided with the opening ceremony of the Rugby World Cup and the first match played between New Zealand V Tonga. The members to celebrated the start of RWC and watched the match LIVE on a flat screen (12ft x 12ft) at RSYC.To welcome the members, the RSYC Bure Bar was hired and food, beverages and cocktails were on the house. There were more than 100 members, including their friends and familiesat this function. Vodafone, Coca-cola (through Mr Ross Mcmillan) and RSYC helped sponsor this function together with FNZBC.
  • 23rd October, Royal Suva Yacht Club – No Quorum
